Matthew 6: 28-33, Lilies Bible Verse, Abundance through Alignment, Action vs. Alignment, Law of Attraction in the Bible

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable then they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” (Matt. 6: 26-27)
I remember reading a news story several years ago about two parents that were arrested for neglecting their children. They were all found starving, while their parents used this verse for their defense. They said they kept waiting for God to provide for them and He never did. I remember my reaction to that line of reasoning was complete shock. I was angry with the Church for teaching so many of us to believe in the Bible in such a blind, literal way. This kind of dogmatic teaching has caused so much misunderstanding and harm. Even wars are fought in defense of the dogmatic teachings of so many religions. Later I began to see the messages behind the literal words of the metaphors.
When we remember Jesus spoke in metaphor so people could understand the absolute ways of our God-Source, the true meaning of this beautiful teaching begins to ring true. This verse teaches us that the way of abundant life is not found through the journey of action. It is found through the journey of alignment, which is the faith, the knowing that well-being is our birthright and runs in our veins. It is our alignment with God-Source that allows all we need to flow to us.
The metaphor of the birds is used because Jesus was well aware that the animals of our planet have not forgotten their connection to our Universal God-Source Creator and so they live their lives beautifully adorned in colorful feathers, never worrying about a roof over their heads, what they will eat next or where it will come from. This kind of life is hard for us to imagine, because we, in our physical forms have forgotten where we came from. As we begin to remember our connection to our life-giving God-Source, we become less attached to seeing physical evidence of well-being. We begin to intuitively know that everything we have asked for has already been given and we only need to stop our resistance to the flow of abundant life.
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matt. 6: 28-30)
The problem is that we humans believe we must toil and strain to achieve the things we need to care for ourselves. But as you read the words of Jesus he chastises us for being of little faith. However, Jesus is not talking about the blind faith of believing in something you have been taught you should believe in. That kind of faith leads to starvation both physically and spiritually. The kind of faith Jesus talks about here is that of unwavering trust, in the belief that well-being is at the core of our existence, in the knowing that our God-Source Creator has already taken care of our needs (Ask and it is given). So our only job is to learn to see people and things through the eyes of God-Source. When we can do that, we will be in vibrational alignment with God-Source and all good things will flow to us.
“So do not worry, saying ‘What shall we eat?’ or What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given unto you as well.” (Matt. 6: 31-33)
And here is the confirmation we need. This verse reiterates that if we worry about what we need, we send out the vibration of lack and lack is what we attract. However, if we seek first His Kingdom, our connection to our God-Source that already resides within us, all we could ever want or need, will be ours. We attain this alignment by letting go of our resistance, letting go of anxiety about abundance and abundant life will be yours. If you can make the best of your current circumstances and find thoughts that feel a little better about what you are currently experiencing, you are well on your way to turning resistance into alignment.

To Everything There is a Season, Action in Relation to Law of Attraction, Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 11

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.” (Ecc 3:1)

“He has made everything beautiful in its time”. (Ecc. 3:11)

These magical verses from the Ecclesiastes, tell us about the element of action in our lives. Law of Attraction (LOA) tells us that any action taken before an alignment of our energy with the idea of the action, only defeats us. This is because there is a time and a season for every activity and if we take an action before we feel good about that action, it is a waste of time. Moreover, if we don’t feel good about it, our vibration on the topic is not good and will therefore bring us a manifestation that matches our vibration (most likely something less than wanted).
For example, when I sit down to write, I have to feel good about taking the time to write. Writing is a luxury for me. It is one of my greatest pleasures, so feeling good about the actual activity is never a problem for me. For me to do my best writing, I need blocks of time to dedicate to researching the inspiration that moves me. Even though writing is one of my greatest pleasures, I don’t feel good about sitting down to write if there are other responsibilities needing my attention. I feel restricted if can’t take the time I need. But it’s not the actual taking of the time to write that is what is important. It is the feeling good about the taking of the time I need to write, that will determine if the action I take to write is in the flow of All That Is, or not. How I feel about dedicating the block of time while I’m taking it will determine if my vibration will be one that brings a manifestation that is wanted or not.
So even if I have a long list of other responsibilities needing my attention and have a large block of time scheduled for writing, I can write and I can choose to feel good about taking the time to write or not. If I can’t feel good about it in that moment, I don’t write. This is in accordance with the lovely verse, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.” (Ecc 3:1) The wisdom God/Source in the Bible advises us to take action only when the time is right. You will know when the time is right when you feel good about it.
Sometimes, we have to take action and don’t feel good. In times like these, direct your thoughts in directions that do help you to have a better feeling thought. You will be more pleased with your outcomes. However, when possible delay any action until you can align your energy with that action.
God/Source reminds us as we read further in Ecclesiastes, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” The action you take will always feel beautiful if you have aligned your energy. Then it is beautiful in its time.
When we line up our vibration to the action and feel good about taking the action, then the time under heaven for that action has arrived and it’s a great time to take the action. This is what is meant by there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. It is a heavenly action if your energy is lined up with it. When you don’t feel good about taking the action, it’s probably a good idea to forgo that action.

Matthew 18:20, Whenever two or more are gathered in my name, law of attraction in the bible

Friday, July 30th, 2010

“For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them.”
(Mt. 18:20
The life of Jesus was a life about acceptance, love, allowing, community, brotherhood, detachment from outcome, and all of these on very deep levels. As in all Bible verse, we must look deeper, past any literal translations of Jesus’ words. This verse is about gathering in the name of community, acceptance, love, allowing brotherhood, and any other intention exemplified by the life of Jesus, the Christ.

I remember a very specific time when I was working with my life-partner, Kelly on an editing project he had. All of a sudden, when we started working, electricity poured through our minds and onto the page. We created a written document out of its original form than was nothing less than magic. As we looked at each other in amazement, this very verse came to mind. It was then I realized what Jesus really meant. When two or more people gather in the spirit exemplified by the life of Jesus, nothing less than miracles happen.

Miracles are the essence of LOA, when anyone is in a state of allowing, God/Source flows to and through you, creating a manifestation equal to the vibration you emit. When two people come together in the loving spirit exemplified by the life of Jesus, God/Source creates miracles through them and it is as if Jesus himself is present.

Worthiness, Inner Being, Inner Beauty, 1 Peter 3:3

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

Never underestimate your worthiness. Revel in the knowing that God/Source has the experience of the physical through us. How wonderful to be the eyes, ears, hands, mouth, nose and inner experience of God/Source. We were created for the sheer joy of our physical existence experienced by God/Source. And when you hone your inner self to the joy that is God/source in you, you have indeed helped God/Source to have a good day. “Instead it should be that your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” (1 Peter 3:3)

Mark 11:24, Law of Attraction, Creating with Thought and Vibration, Abundance

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it, and it shall be yours.” (Mark 11:24). This has always been one of my favorite bible quotes. It is filled with the principles of what we have come to know today as Law of Attraction. All who have recognized their own divinity know the truth in this verse.

Belief is the biggest part of what is described above. This is the kind of belief and faith that moves mountains. It is ordained by the laws of the Universe that if your belief in whatever it is you want to come to you, is on its way to you, it must come. God Source put this law into action. It is your belief that sends out the vibration of alignment or dis alignment, which God Source responds to. Creation is fulfilled through each of us. We are always creating with our thoughts and vibrations. It’s now a matter of tuning our thoughts and actions to the situations, people and things that are more pleasing than not pleasing. Either way, we are going to get a physical manifestation that matches our vibrations. We might as well put out vibrations that match things that are pleasing.

Law of Attraction, God Source and Divinity, Law of Attraction in the Bible, Law of Attraction Bible Study

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

The Bible tell us we are divine. Law of Attraction tells us we are divine. It is all one in the same message.

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become the children of God–children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision, or a husband’s will, but born of God.” (John 1:12-13).

Receiving is recognizing the connection we have to God/Source. Believing on his name is the same as recognizing the power of God/Source essence. Being a son of God (connected to God/Source) is something we do not need to acquire, but it is ours when we are born, we have but to receive, allow, accept, recognize.

When we realize and claim our divinity, we automatically realize our worthiness. We need not earn worthiness, God Source gave us our divinity at birth.
